Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America seeks an experienced Indirect Inventory Manager to lead the indirect inventory team responsible for maintaining parts and materials for maintenance and production. You will implement world‑class material handling and logistics practices while driving inventory accuracy and cost control.

You will collaborate with maintenance planning and production supervisors to forecast needs, preassemble parts kits, manage BOMs, and develop supplier relationships

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment leading Material Handling and Logistics operations.
• Must have 5+ years’ experience in parts ordering, storing, and inventory control position(s).
• Ability to summarize reports and present data to executive management.
• Ability to analyze failure modes and recommend preventive actions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with information systems reporting tools (ERP, CMMS, MS Excel/Access).
• Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of GMP and safety guidelines; proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Indirect Inventory Team including Exempt and Nonexempt direct reports.
• Manage inventories of all maintenance repair parts and manufacturing consumables.
• Develop and use reports to track parts shortages and inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Planning to forecast parts for PM actions and production runs.
• Create and manage purchase orders and supplier relationships.
• Maintain stock control, min/max levels, and auto-order where needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
