Job summary
Bechtel Corporation in Reston, VA seeks a Senior Indirect Estimating Supervisor to lead the Indirects Estimating group, delivering professional services estimates across heavy civil, airport, rail, renewable, and clean energy sectors.
You will perform historical data analysis, maintain the historical database, and supervise the estimate process without engaging in construction distributable estimating. Strong coaching and data skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, business management or related field or 15+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Estimating or Project Controls.
- Experience with indirect estimate development and cost data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day guidance to direct reports and coach on priorities.
- Perform quality checks and reviews of indirect estimator deliverables.
- Lead professional services cost estimates for PMCM/billing rate structures.
- Oversee yearly updates of service-related cost variables (salary ranges, PIR, pay adds, insurances).
- Analyze staffing plan inputs and assist estimate basis documentation.
