Job summary

United American Indian Involvement, Inc. (UAII) is seeking a Housing Case Manager to support clients experiencing homelessness and housing instability in Los Angeles County.

You will provide individualized case management, assist with housing searches, and build relationships with property owners and partners to secure permanent and supportive housing. The role requires collaboration with multiple UAII teams and CDSS initiatives, using LAHSA/HMIS and other systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience with homelessness or severely housing insecure individuals.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work/related field or 2+ years direct mental health services or intensive case management.
• Experience with housing stability, tenancy support, and referrals is preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and LA housing systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management using Housing First principles.
• Assist with housing searches and tenancy support.
• Maintain participant files and required documentation in an accurate, timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to expand housing opportunities.
• Conduct field visits and engage participants in various settings.
