Job summary

United American Indian Involvement (UAII) in Los Angeles is seeking a Program Assistant/Case Manager to support the UAII Boys & Girls Club youth programs. You will help plan daily activities, provide a safe environment, and assist with basic case management for youth and families.

The role is grant funded, requires working with AI/AN communities, and involves collaborating with schools, partners, and staff to connect families with resources while maintaining confidential records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience working with youth, teens and families in youth development or social services.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• One year of experience working with youth and families.
• Combination of experience, education, and training may substitute for degree requirements on a year for year basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation for youth to and from UAII Boys & Girls Club activities.
• Maintain documentation on paper and electronically through RPMS.
• Assist in planning, implementing, and supervising educational, recreational, and enrichment activities.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all youth participants.
• Build positive relationships with youth, families, volunteers, and community partners.
• Conduct basic case management activities including intake, assessments, referrals, and follow-up.
• Monitor participation, progress, and outcomes; connect families to resources.
