Job summary

Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. in Indianapolis is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with employees and leadership across recruiting, relations, benefits, and onboarding.

You will support leave management, HRIS data integrity, and policy implementation in a fast-paced, multi-hat environment. The role emphasizes handling confidential information, building relationships, and delivering solutions that align with employee needs and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years HR experience in Generalist/HRBP roles.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, benefits administration, and compliance.
• Experience managing FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and leave administration.
• HRIS experience: Workday, UKG, ADP, Paylocity, or similar.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for employees and managers on policies and workplace concerns.
• Support employee relations activities, including investigations and performance management.
• Partner with hiring managers on recruitment, onboarding, and orientation.
• Administer benefits programs and respond to benefits questions.
• Manage leave programs including FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation.
• Maintain accurate HRIS data and employee records.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Assist with payroll administration, audits, and workforce analytics.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and training.
• Support performance reviews and organizational development initiatives.
