Job summary

Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. in Grand Rapids seeks a proactive HR Generalist to support employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, onboarding, compliance and HR operations.

You will manage full-cycle recruiting, benefits, payroll coordination, HRIS data integrity, and HR projects to improve engagement and efficiency. Bachelor's in HR and 3+ years HR experience are required; SHRM-CP or similar certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years HR Generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR practices.
• Experience with recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and compliance.
• Proficiency with HRIS and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee relations and guidance.
• Administer employee benefits programs, enrollments, changes, and inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with laws.
• Coordinate performance review processes and employee development.
• Process personnel actions including hires, terminations, promotions, transfers.
• Assist with policy development, implementation, and communication.
• Support payroll coordination and HR data integrity in HRIS.
• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding programs.
• Participate in HR projects to improve engagement and efficiency.
