Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Indiana to lead a team of 50–100 hourly Associates in a fulfillment center environment. You will mentor, motivate, and manage performance to safety, quality, and productivity goals while delivering on customer orders.

This is a full-time, non-remote role focused on on-floor leadership and operational excellence. This position requires shift flexibility, with nights and weekends as needed, and offers relocation benefits to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree required; all degree requirements met before first day.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer service.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's program for Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead, engage, and develop a team of 50–100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Walk the floor, monitor operations, and drive safety, quality, and productivity.
• Coordinate shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Oversee deliveries, pallet jacks, PIT equipment and resolve roadblocks with cross-functional teams.
• Provide regular updates to leadership and ensure a clean handoff between shifts.
