Job summary

Amazon in Indiana is hiring an Area Manager to lead a team of 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates in a fast-paced warehouse setting. You will mentor, motivate and manage performance to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.

This full-time, on-site role requires ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, walk and stand for long periods, and navigate a dynamic operations floor with hands-on leadership and real impact on customer orders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor's or master's degree.
• Must have completed degree requirements before first day.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Enrollment in Supply Chain/Business/Management/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 50-100 Amazon Associates.
• Walk the floor to stay connected with the team and ensure safety, quality and productivity.
• Shift-based leadership including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Coach and remove roadblocks by partnering with support teams.
