LILT is seeking a Manufacturing and Industrial Operations Subject Matter Expert to design and review realistic scenarios for AI benchmarking in Indian industrial settings. You will cover operations across production, procurement, quality, maintenance, and logistics, contributing to gold-standard solutions.

As an independent contractor, work on flexible hours from anywhere. Native Urdu with strong English, 5+ years in related fields, and deep knowledge of Indian manufacturing are required for

Qualifications

• Native-level Urdu with strong professional English proficiency.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Manufacturing, Industrial Operations, Production Management, Engineering, Procurement, or Supply Chain Operations.
• Background in Purchasing & Procurement, Production Supervision, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, Logistics Coordination, or Manufacturing Operations.
• Strong understanding of industrial workflows, operational safety standards, production processes, procurement procedures, and Indian manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic Manufacturing and Industrial Operations scenarios in Urdu or English grounded in Indian operational contexts (e.g., production workflows, procurement coordination, quality control, industrial maintenance, process optimization, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving activities)
• Adapt structured evaluation rubrics for operational problem-solving, engineering analysis, inventory coordination, and production management tasks
• Review AI and human-generated responses for factual accuracy, operational efficiency, safety awareness, and industrial realism
• Contribute to “gold standard” solutions reflecting best practices across Indian manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain operations
