Job summary

LILT seeks experienced Manufacturing and Industrial Operations professionals as Subject Matter Experts to support an AI benchmarking project across manufacturing facilities and industrial operations.

As an independent contractor, you will design realistic scenarios, adapt rubrics, review AI and human responses for accuracy and safety, and contribute to gold-standard solutions across production and supply chain domains.

Qualifications

• Native-level target language with strong professional English proficiency.
• 5+ years in Manufacturing, Industrial Operations, Production Management, Engineering, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
• Background in Purchasing, Production Supervision, Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Inventory Control, Warehouse, Logistics, or Manufacturing Operations.
• Understanding of industrial workflows, safety standards, production, procurement, and Indian manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic Manufacturing and Industrial Operations scenarios in the target language or English grounded in locale contexts (e.g., production workflows, procurement coordination, quality control, industrial maintenance, process optimization, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving).
• Adapt evaluation rubrics for operational problem-solving, engineering analysis, inventory coordination, and production management tasks.
• Review AI and human-generated responses for factual accuracy, operational efficiency, safety awareness, and industrial realism.
• Contribute to “gold standard” solutions reflecting best practices across target locale manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain operations.
