Job summary

Syngenta, in partnership with Golden Harvest, seeks Independent Seed Advisors in the Midwest who will sell, distribute and service seed products directly to growers. This self-employed role offers flexibility to build a local business with agronomic support from a nationwide network of Syngenta professionals.

You will operate as an independent advisor, delivering plans to customers, creating demand, and forecasting territory results while leveraging Syngenta’s portfolio to meet sales and

Qualifications

• Deliver plans and offers to target customers
• Create demand at the customer level, ensuring knowledge of our products and interest in Syngenta solutions
• Act as a steward of the Syngenta portfolio by making recommendations and addressing field concerns with Agronomy
• Recommend product placement to improve customer satisfaction
• Achieve sales, profit, and market share targets within the territory and district
• Regularly collect and report market intelligence and value chain insights
• Manage operating budget, variable selling expenses, and marketing funds within district guidelines
• Develop assigned territory by adding new farmers
• Accurate forecasting for customers within the territory
• Develop a territory-level business plan identifying opportunities, must-wins, and tactics to grow territory sales
