Job summary

Syngenta Group, promoting the Golden Harvest brand, seeks Independent Seed Advisors to sell, distribute, and service seed products directly to growers. You will join a network of independent seed sellers with support from Syngenta agronomy and sales professionals.

As an independent advisor, you will build your own business, work with local farmers, and leverage digital tools and resources to grow territory sales across the Midwest.

Qualifications

• Independent contractor mindset and self-motivation required.
• Ability to deliver plans and offers to target customers.
• Ability to create demand and educate customers about Syngenta solutions.
• Must be able to forecast territory sales and manage budgets within district guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plans and offers to target customers
• Create demand at the customer level
• Act as a steward of the Syngenta portfolio with agronomy partners
• Recommend product placement to improve customer satisfaction
• Achieve sales, profit, and market share targets within the territory
• Collect and report market intelligence and value chain insights
• Manage operating budget, selling expenses, and marketing funds within district
• Develop territory through adding new farmers
• Develop a territory-level business plan with opportunities and tactics
