Job summary

Preferred Reports seeks experienced Personal Lines (Residential) Insurance Consultants to conduct interior and exterior loss control inspections as approved vendors. This contract-based work pays per inspection and requires independent scheduling, reliable transportation, and a computer with Windows 10.

Reports are submitted through a cloud system after each site visit. Inspectors may cover a wide territory, complete measurements and diagrams, and provide detailed reports with recommendations.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year experience in interior/exterior residential loss control surveys.
• 3–5 years in Commercial Loss Control preferred.
• Must have own computer with Windows 10 and high-speed internet.
• Reliable car and ability to cover wide territory.
• Bi-lingual is a plus.
• Must pass background check and may include a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone calls.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify hazards/controls and document findings.
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property, as required.
• Upload report / photos through a cloud-based system by the specified deadline.
