Job summary

Preferred Reports seeks experienced Personal Lines (Residential) Insurance Consultants to conduct interior and exterior loss control inspections in the designated area. Independent contractor role, reports completed and uploaded to a cloud-based system, with weekly payments upon order completion.

Vendors must provide their own equipment (Windows 10 computer, digital camera, measuring tool, etc.) and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience completing interior/exterior residential loss control surveys and reports.
• Ability to meet hard due dates with minimum supervision.
• Own a computer with Windows 10 and high-speed internet access.
• Be detail oriented and well organized with a flexible schedule.
• Must have reliable car to cover a wide territory on an as needed basis.
• Must have a camera pole up to 12 ft and a measuring tool.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone calls.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document any hazards/controls that are found at the property.
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property, as required.
• Upload report/photos through a cloud-based system by the specified deadline.
