Job summary

FeldCare Connects is seeking a self-motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver premier home health care in the Castro Valley area as an Independent Contractor.

You will work with adults of all ages, follow the plan of care laid out by the PT, perform interventions to reduce pain, restore function, and monitor progress, while coordinating with partner agencies and the health care team. Flexibility to set your own schedule is provided.

Qualifications

• PTA license and state registration required.
• Completion of PTA curriculum approved by APTA, CMA, or CMA Council on Medical Education.
• Ability and enthusiasm to work with patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Follow the plan of care and be guided by the PT assessment to provide treatment.
• Perform interventions to improve movement, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability.
• Evaluate patient progress and report changes to the health care team.
