The Periscope Group is recruiting Independent Consultants to perform one-time, in-home medical necessity assessments for physical or occupational therapy needs. You will evaluate home environments and provide recommendations to support patient independence.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist in good standing.
• Malpractice/liability insurance (may be purchased at time of offer).
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to member homes.
• Proficient with technology and online portals for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in a patient’s home.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, service, and care to maintain independence.
• Complete documentation through secure online portal from any device.
