Job summary

The Periscope Group is a nationwide network of physical and occupational therapists who perform in-home, one-time medical necessity assessments. This independent consultant opportunity lets you apply clinical skills to help members maintain independence.

You will conduct home assessments, offer equipment and care recommendations, and complete simple documentation via a secure online portal from any device. Scheduling is flexible as an independent contractor, with ongoing training and a mentoring

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• Malpractice/liability insurance may be purchased at offer time.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and navigate varied home environments.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to member homes.
• Proficient with online portals and document uploads.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in a home.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, services and care.
• Complete documentation through secure, online portal.
