Job summary

The Periscope Group is seeking independent consultants to perform one-time, in-home medical necessity assessments for physical or occupational therapists across the United States. Join a nationwide network and contribute to patient independence with expert evaluations and recommendations.

Set your own schedule as an independent contractor; compensation ranges from $135 to $200 per assessment, with rates varying by location and assessment type. Training and mentoring support provided.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical or Occupational Therapist (Sorry, No PTAs or COTAs).
• Proficient with technology: able to navigate online portals, upload documents, and use your preferred device for all work tasks.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, navigate stairs and varied home environments, and perform physical assessments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform one-time comprehensive medical need assessments in an individual’s home.
• Provide expert recommendations for equipment, service, and care that empower members to maintain independence
• Complete straightforward documentation through our secure, user-friendly online portal accessible from any device
