Job summary

Preferred Reports, the National Risk Services Division, seeks experienced loss control consultants for residential and commercial properties. This independent-contractor role inspects properties, conducts consultative visits, and submits reports through a cloud system.

Appointments are scheduled at buyer and inspector convenience. Contractors are paid per inspection and weekly upon satisfactory completion, with independent operation and full responsibility for equipment and scheduling.

Qualifications

• At least three years of loss control survey experience for property/casualty lines.
• Experience in construction, real estate, or architecture is a plus.
• Must be self-motivated with strong scheduling and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule site inspections with insureds or agents by email/phone.
• Travel to and conduct residential and commercial property inspections.
• Interview management or property contacts as required.
• Survey premises, document hazards, and capture photos.
• Measure buildings, prepare diagrams, and document findings.
• Prepare detailed reports and upload via cloud system by deadlines.
• Follow client guidelines and communicate with stakeholders.
• Deliver high-quality services while meeting order deadlines.
