Job summary

Preferred Reports is the nationwide provider of personal and commercial lines loss control and risk intelligence to the insurance industry. We contract qualified independent consultants to conduct interior and exterior inspections, prepare detailed reports, and deliver results via a cloud-based system.

As an approved vendor, you’ll schedule inspections, perform field surveys, capture photos, and promptly upload findings.

Qualifications

• One year of interior/exterior residential loss control surveys preferred.
• 3–5 years in commercial loss control assignments.
• Ability to meet hard due dates with minimal supervision.
• Own a Windows 10 PC with reliable internet.
• Detail oriented and well organized with a flexible schedule.
• Reliable car and territory coverage.
• Digital camera and measuring tools; camera pole up to 12 ft.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email/phone.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls at the property.
• Complete on-site management interviews as required.
• Upload report/photos through cloud-based system by deadline.
• Become familiar with client-specific guidelines.
• Communicate with Preferred Reports, agents, and insureds.
• Provide high quality and professional services.
