Job summary

Preferred Reports is the largest nationwide supplier of personal and commercial lines loss control and risk intelligence to the insurance industry. We hire qualified independent consultants to perform interior and exterior property inspections and report findings through a cloud-based system.

As a contracted vendor, you will schedule inspections, complete property surveys, and upload reports. A background check is required; bilinguals are a plus, and payments are issued weekly upon order

Qualifications

• Preferably one year’s experience completing interior/exterior residential insurance loss control surveys and 3‑5 years experience in commercial loss control assignments.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet hard due dates with minimum supervision.
• Own a computer with Windows 10 and high‑speed internet access.
• Be detail oriented, well organized and have a flexible schedule.
• Possess a reliable car capable of covering a wide territory as needed.
• Have a digital camera, measure wheel or similar device; camera pole up to 12 ft for P.L. work.
• Have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone calls.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document any hazards/controls found at the property.
• Complete on‑site management interviews regarding the property as required.
• Upload report and photos through a cloud‑based system by the specified deadline.
• Become familiar with client‑specific guidelines.
• Communicate with Preferred Reports, agents, and insureds as needed.
• Provide high quality and professional services.
