Job summary

Underwriter Services Association Inc. seeks experienced Commercial & Personal Lines loss control consultants for a nationwide vendor network. You will conduct interior and exterior inspections, document hazards, and produce detailed reports using a cloud system.

No license is required and pay is per inspection, with weekly settlement after approved orders. Vendors operate independently, bring their own equipment, and cover a wide territory.

Qualifications

• Preferably one year's experience completing interior/exterior residential insurance loss control surveys and reports.
• 3 to 5 years experience in Commercial Loss Control assignments.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet hard due dates with minimum supervision.
• Own a computer with Windows 10 and high-speed internet access.
• Be detail oriented and well organized with a flexible schedule.
• Must have reliable car to cover a wide territory as needed.
• Must have digital camera, high speed internet, and strong knowledge of Microsoft products.
• Must have a camera pole extending up to 12 ft and a measuring tool for P.L. work.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone calls.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls at the property.
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property.
• Upload report/photos through a cloud-based system by the deadline.
• Be familiar with client guidelines and communicate with Preferred Reports, agents, and insureds.
• Provide high quality and professional services.
