Job summary

Underwriter Services Association Inc. is seeking experienced Commercial & Personal Lines (Residential) Insurance Consultants to perform interior and/or exterior loss control inspections as approved vendors.

Inspections are contract-based and paid per site, with reports delivered via a cloud system. Vendors operate independently, with weekly payments upon order completion, and must supply their own equipment and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Preferably 1 year experience completing interior/exterior residential loss control surveys and reports; 3–5 years in Commercial Loss Control.
Own a computer with Windows 10 and high-speed internet access.
Be detail oriented and well organized with a flexible schedule.
Must have reliable car with ability to cover a wide territory, if required.
Must have a digital camera, high-speed internet, and good knowledge of Microsoft products.
Must have a camera pole up to 12 ft and a measuring tool for loss-control work.

Responsibilities

Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone calls.
Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
Take clear digital photos of properties.
Identify and document any hazards/controls at the property.
Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property, as required.
Upload report/photos through a cloud-based system by the specified deadline.
Become familiar with client-specific guidelines.
Communicate with Preferred Reports, agents, and insureds as needed.
Provide high quality and professional services.
