Job summary

Underwriter Services Association is seeking experienced Commercial & Personal Lines (Residential) Insurance Consultants to join our approved vendor network. As an approved vendor, you will conduct interior and/or exterior loss control inspections across your coverage area, with appointments set at mutual convenience.

This contract-based work is paid per inspection and processed through a cloud-based system. Vendors operate independently and are paid weekly upon satisfactory completion.

Qualifications

• 1 year residential loss control surveys; 3–5 years commercial loss control experience.
• Ability to meet hard due dates with minimum supervision.
• Own Windows 10 PC with high-speed internet.
• Detail oriented, well organized and flexible schedule.
• Reliable car capable of covering a wide territory.
• Camera, measuring tools; long camera pole up to 12 ft for P.L. work.
• Proficient with Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone calls.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls found at the property.
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property as required.
• Upload report and photos through a cloud-based system by the specified deadline.
• Communicate with Preferred Reports, agents, and insureds; ensure high quality service.
