Job summary

Underwriter Services Association Inc. seeks experienced Commercial & Personal Lines Insurance Consultants to become approved vendors for loss control inspections. Inspections are contract-based and paid per inspection, with weekly payments after order completion.

Vendors operate independently using their own equipment and reliable transportation. Duties include site visits, hazard assessments, photography, measurements, and reporting through a cloud system.

Qualifications

• Preferably one years’ experience completing interior/exterior residential insurance loss control surveys and reports.
• 3 to 5 years experience in Commercial Loss Control assignments.
• Be detail oriented and well organized.
• Must have reliable car with ability to cover a wide territory on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone calls.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document any hazards/controls that are found at the property.
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property, as required.
• Upload report / photos through a cloud-based system by the specified deadline.
