Job summary

Underwriter Services Association Inc. seeks experienced Commercial & Personal Lines loss control consultants to conduct interior and exterior inspections as approved vendors. You’ll work independently in your territory, using your own equipment, and reports are uploaded via a cloud-based system.

Inspections include photos, hazard identification, and measurements, with reports delivered promptly. Vendors are paid per inspection on a weekly basis after order completion.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year experience completing interior/exterior residential loss control surveys and reports
• 3 to 5 years experience in Commercial Loss Control assignments
• Own a computer with Windows 10 and high-speed internet
• Be detail oriented and organized with a flexible schedule
• Must have reliable car to cover wide territory as needed
• Have a digital camera and a measuring tool
• Have a camera pole up to 12 ft and a measuring tool for P.L. work

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier
• Take clear digital photos of properties
• Identify and document hazards/controls found at the property
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property as required
• Upload report/photos through cloud-based system by deadline
• Become familiar with client-specific guidelines
• Communicate with Preferred Reports, agents, and insureds as needed
• Provide high quality and professional services
