Job summary

Underwriter Services Association Inc. seeks experienced Commercial & Personal Lines (Residential) Insurance Consultants to become approved vendors.

You will conduct interior and exterior loss control inspections across your coverage area, with no licensing required and payments weekly upon order completion. You must provide a current resume, pass a background check, and have reliable transportation, a computer with Windows 10, a digital camera, and a measuring wheel.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year of interior/exterior residential loss control surveys and 3–5 years in Commercial Loss Control.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet hard due dates with minimal supervision.
• Own a computer with Windows 10 and high-speed internet access.
• Be detail oriented and well organized with a flexible schedule.
• Must have a reliable car and cover a wide territory; if required.
• Must have a digital camera, high-speed internet and knowledge of Microsoft products.
• Must have a camera pole up to 12 ft and a measuring tool for P.L. work.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone calls.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls found at the property.
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property, as required.
• Upload report/photos through a cloud-based system by the deadline.
• Become familiar with client guidelines and communicate as needed with Preferred Reports, agents, and insureds.
• Provide high quality and professional services.
