Job summary

Underwriter Services Association seeks experienced Commercial & Personal Lines (Residential) Insurance Consultants to become approved vendors. You will conduct interior and/or exterior loss control inspections in your coverage area as an independent contractor, with weekly payments upon order completion.

A current resume and background check are required; bilingual skills are a plus. Vendors must provide their own equipment, have reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule to meet

Qualifications

• Experience in interior/exterior residential loss control surveys.
• Own a reliable vehicle and flexible schedule.
• Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Background check and may include a drug screen.
• Bi-lingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone calls.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls.
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property, as required.
• Upload report/photos through cloud-based system by deadline.
• Become familiar with client guidelines.
• Communicate with Preferred Reports, agents, and insureds.
• Provide high quality and professional services.
