Job summary

Easterseals Hawaii provides direct support to adults with disabilities, helping them develop skills and achieve independence in home or program settings.

As a Direct Support Worker, you will follow individualized plans, maintain confidentiality, and ensure safety while supporting daily living activities and community integration. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered, and training will be provided to build confidence in all duties.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Support participants to achieve the highest level of independence.
• Provide input on and implement the participant’s Individual Plan.
• Follow guidelines to promote health and safety.
• Monitor and report issues to supervisor.
• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities as needed.
• Complete participant data and documentation by deadline.
