Inspired Living provides Independent Living Services across California. We are seeking an ILS Instructor who works one-on-one with a small number of clients, teaching skills they choose to work on. Sessions happen in clients' homes or in the community, typically in blocks of several hours.

This teaching role emphasizes guiding rather than doing, with skill-building that is incremental across sessions. A valid CA driver’s license, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong communication are

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Six months of paid or volunteer experience supporting people with disabilities or comparable human services experience.
Ability to communicate clearly in English, spoken and written.
Spanish proficiency preferred; required for some client assignments.
Valid California driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current registration and insurance.
CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain before first client session.

Responsabilités

Work independently. No supervisor on site; manage the session, time, and judgment in the moment.
Document every session with accurate service notes and timesheets.
Show up consistently; maintain routine and reliability for clients.
Drive and transport clients during sessions when authorized.
Communicate promptly about schedule changes, client concerns, safety issues, and incidents.
