Job summary

Inspired Living Inc is seeking an ILS Instructor in California to teach independent living skills to adults with developmental disabilities. You will guide clients one-on-one, helping them practice skills in home and community settings and adapt lessons to individual needs.

Sessions are scheduled in blocks across the week, with travel to client homes and community locations. You will document progress, coordinate with your ILS Manager, and support client goals through consistent, client-centered

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
At least six months of paid or volunteer experience supporting people with disabilities, or comparable human services experience.
Ability to communicate clearly in English, spoken and written.
Spanish proficiency preferred; required for some client assignments.
Valid California driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and current registration and insurance.
CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it before your first client session.

Responsibilities

Work independently. No supervisor on site; manage session, time, and judgment.
Document every session; submit service notes and timesheets on time.
Show up consistently; maintain routine for clients.
Drive to clients and transport them during sessions when authorized.
Communicate promptly with your ILS Manager about changes, concerns, safety issues, and incidents.
