Job summary

Executive Home Care of Saddleback Valley seeks compassionate ILS Educators/Instructors to work one-on-one with adults with IDD receiving Independent Living Skills services through RCOC. You will teach practical life skills and support independence in clients’ homes and communities in Orange County, CA.

Ideal candidates have backgrounds in education, special education, behavioral or social services, healthcare, or developmental disabilities, with experience in positive behavioral support and

Qualifications

• Patient, professional, dependable, and organized.
• Preferred experience includes working with adults with autism or other developmental disabilities and related programs.
• CPR/First Aid or BLS certification and background clearance are required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with adults in their homes and community to develop life skills.
• Teach budgeting, money management, grocery shopping, meal planning, household organization and other independence skills.
• Document progress and communicate observations to the program director.
