Job summary

Pathway to Possible Inc. in Massachusetts seeks a Program Manager to oversee an Independent Living Program, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality services for adults with developmental disabilities in Newton and nearby areas.

The role covers fiduciary oversight, coordinating medical appointments, and managing administrative duties aligned with DDS and DPH requirements. A degree in human services and relevant certifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
• Graduate degree and/or 5 years program management experience preferred.
• Commitment to the empowerment of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Familiarity with the DDS delivery system.
• Massachusetts driver's license required.
• MAP certification preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification required; experience with complex medical needs preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Clearance of CORI background checks as required by state and federal law.
• Clearance of DPPC registry as required by state law.
• Finger printing clearance through the DDS background check.

Responsibilities

• Follow Pathway to Possible policies and procedures and promote human dignity.
• Provide regular documented supervision and feedback to staff.
• Schedule and approve staffing per individual contract.
• Provide up to 10 weeks of on-call coverage per year.
• Be an active member of a management team and participate in meetings.
• Ensure client healthcare needs are met and documented.
• Maintain knowledge of clients' financial resources and entitlements.
• Ensure safety programs and ISPs are implemented per guidelines.
• Direct case managers to monitor medical/dental appointments.
• Participate in DDS training programs and Program Manager meetings.
• Coordinate with HMO for house operations and maintenance.
