Gloucester Charities Trust in Gloucester City Centre and four sheltered housing schemes seeks an Independent Living Officer to help residents live independently, sustain tenancies and engage with their community.

The role blends housing management, resident support and scheme visits, with office time and travel between sites. A DBS check and full UK driving licence are required, and the right to work in the UK is essential.

Qualificações

• Experience in housing, sheltered housing, retirement living, tenancy support or related field is essential.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload while recording accurately.

Responsabilidades

• Support residents to live independently and sustain tenancies.
• Carry out welfare visits and wellbeing checks.
• Complete inductions and tenancy/license administration.
• Monitor wellbeing and liaise with external agencies as needed.
• Identify maintenance issues and safety risks and report them.
