Lancaster City Council is seeking an Independent Living Officer to support older adults to live independently across approximately 65 properties. You will be the main contact for tenants, guiding them on housing, health and social issues, while managing operations and ensuring tenancy sustainability.

You will cover other schemes as needed, working independently within a supportive team and contributing to community wellbeing and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and calm under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Be the main point of contact for tenants, advising on housing, health and social issues on-site and in tenants' homes.
• Manage daily operations, respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies, and maintain accurate records.
• Provide cover for other schemes within Lancaster City Council, working independently within a dispersed team.
