Job summary
Gloucester Charities Trust in Guild House is seeking a Weekend Care & Support Assistant to provide compassionate care to older residents. The role involves 24 hours across alternate weekends, with two long-day shifts and potential extra cover during leave or sickness.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents.
- Assist with daily living activities, including dressing, bathing, mobility, and mealtimes.
- Encourage residents’ independence, choice, and participation in activities.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records in line with CQC and organisational requirements.
- Support residents living with dementia and other age-related conditions.
- Promote safeguarding, health and safety, and infection prevention measures.
