Job summary

LONG Building Technologies in Murray, UT is seeking a Service Technician II to independently manage maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of commercial HVAC systems, with mentorship from senior technicians.

You will work on moderately difficult tasks, perform installations, and train apprentices, while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring safety and quality on every job site.

Qualifications

• 4+ years working experience with commercial HVAC systems.
• Valid CFC Refrigeration certificate.
• Advanced understanding of commercial HVAC/electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderately difficult troubleshooting on commercial HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Perform advanced maintenance tasks according to LONG procedures.
• Oversee small HVAC installation projects.
• Train and mentor Apprentices and Tech I staff.
• Complete installation tasks using copper/steel piping and ducting.
• Attend training courses and progress toward Service Technician III.
