Job summary
LONG Building Technologies is seeking a Service Technician II to independently manage maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of commercial HVAC systems. You will work on moderately complex tasks with responsibility, partnering with senior technicians and following LONG service procedures.
A company vehicle and tools are provided to support field work and customer service excellence. The role includes training apprentices and small installation projects, while maintaining safety
Qualifications
- 4+ years working experience with commercial HVAC systems.
- Valid CFC Refrigeration certificate.
- Advanced understanding of commercial HVAC or electrical systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to drive and operate a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Perform moderately difficult troubleshooting on commercial HVAC systems and related equipment.
- Conduct advanced maintenance tasks according to LONG’s Service Procedures.
- Oversee small HVAC installation projects.
- Train and mentor Apprentices and Tech I’s.
- Complete installation tasks using copper/steel piping and ducting while coordinating with team.
- Attend training and progress toward Service Technician III.
- Complete paperwork accurately on the job.
- Deliver outstanding customer service at job sites.
