LONG Building Technologies is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician III to join our Colorado service team. You will independently diagnose and resolve complex HVAC issues, spending most of your time in the field while mentoring less-experienced technicians.

This senior role requires 6+ years with commercial HVAC systems, EPA 608 certification, and strong troubleshooting skills. You will oversee installations and start-ups, support energy performance, and build strong customer

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with commercial HVAC systems.
• EPA 608 refrigerant certification required.
• Expert knowledge of commercial heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
• Strong independent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of VRF systems and building automation systems (BAS).
• Experience managing large-scale HVAC projects.
• Understanding of refrigerant management and environmental considerations.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and work after hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on refrigeration systems and controls.
• Oversee larger installation and retrofit projects in the field.
• Design and implement HVAC solutions based on customer needs.
• Provide technical support on difficult service issues and mentor apprentices.
