Job summary

Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio in Columbus, Ohio seeks a Human Resources Generalist to support a ~80-employee, multi-site workforce. You will handle recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, benefits and leave administration, HRIS, compliance, performance management, training coordination, and workforce reporting under the Vice President of People & Culture.

This on-site role requires a minimum of four years' HR experience, full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and strong knowledge of

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of HR experience with hands-on responsibility across multiple HR functions.
• Demonstrated full-cycle recruiting and onboarding experience required.
• Experience supporting employee relations, benefits or leave administration, performance management, compliance, and HR operations required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and paperwork.
• Employee Relations & Manager Support: serve as first HR point of contact and guide attendance, performance, conduct and workplace matters.
• Benefits, Leave & HR Administration: enrollments, open enrollment, leave administration and compliance handling.
• Performance, Engagement & Development: support performance management, engagement surveys, training logistics, and culture initiatives.
• Compliance, Reporting & Other: maintain records, HR audits, reporting, and policy updates.
