Job summary

MedScope is seeking Field Technicians/Installers on a 1099 basis to install and test personal emergency response equipment in clients' homes. You set your own schedule, travel to member locations, and coordinate directly with caregivers.

Roles emphasize safety, reliability, and clear communication. You must own a vehicle, have a valid driver’s license and insurance, and be willing to undergo background checks and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, registration and auto insurance.
• Willing to undergo background checks and training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working email address and smartphone with voicemail.
• Ability to work independently and meet service levels.
• Experience with field technician or cable/alarm installs is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointment scheduling directly with clients.
• Delivery, initial setup and testing of personal emergency response equipment.
• Educate clients/caregivers on device usage and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation.
• Maintain records of installations, service calls and interactions using company software.
• Obtain signatures via Docusign and comply with safety and policy requirements.
