Job summary

MedScope is seeking an independent contractor Installer to perform on-site installation, testing, and training for Personal Emergency Response Equipment in clients' homes. You will coordinate with members and caregivers, document work, and ensure SLA adherence.

As a 1099 contractor, you set your availability, receive assignment-based jobs, and get paid per trip, with mileage-based rates that reward efficiency and travel distance.

Qualifications

• Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license, registration and auto insurance.
• Willing to complete background checks and training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and meet service levels.
• Field technician or installation experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointment scheduling directly with clients
• Delivery, initial setup and testing of personal emergency response equipment in clients’ homes
• Educate clients/caregivers on device usage, features and maintenance
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation
• Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls and client interactions using company software
• Collaborate with member support and installer coordinators to provide seamless support to members
• Obtain signatures via Docusign on paperwork during installation appointments
• Adherent to safety protocols, regulatory requirements and company policies during installations
