Job summary

BELFOR USA seeks an Intermediate Carpenter to support reconstruction efforts, with extensive carpentry experience and the ability to work with little supervision. The role includes assisting BELFOR Estimators with scope development and autonomously running projects, while developing basic carpenter skills in a residential to commercial transition.

Must be able to travel, work nights and weekends, and attend BELFOR safety trainings.

Qualifications

• Extensive carpentry experience as required for reconstruction work.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on job sites.
• Experience supervising basic labors and coordinating sub-contractors when needed.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential project issues and escalate to supervisor as needed.
• Protect and move contents without damage on job sites.
• Construct containment for dust and contaminants.
• Perform floodcutting, salvaging, and labeling materials like baseboards and doors.
• Attend shrink wrap training and apply learned skills on projects.
• Support scope development with estimators and run projects autonomously.
• Attend safety trainings and site operations as required.
