Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) is seeking a Preschool for All Classroom Support Aide to assist teachers with inclusion strategies and individualized supports for preschoolers in a dynamic classroom.

You will support children with diverse developmental needs, promote self-help skills, and aid with documentation while maintaining a safe, compliant learning environment. Strong collaboration with staff and families is essential.

Qualifications

• CDA includes preschool ages or to obtain within 6 months.
• Oregon Registry Online (ORO) Step 8 or higher via degree/pathways.
• Minimum of 1 year of preschool work experience, preferably in special education or with varied backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist PFA Teachers with implementing inclusion strategies and IEP/IFSP goals.
• Support accommodations, modifications, and positive behavior strategies in classroom activities.
• Provide classroom support for diverse learners including language, social-emotional, and developmental needs.
• Assist with daily routines and self-help skills to promote independence.
• Support small-group and individualized language development activities.
• Document and maintain records for children with identified needs.
