Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) is seeking a Preschool Instructional Assistant to support teaching staff in maintaining a safe and nurturing preschool environment. The role involves supervising children, assisting with daily routines, and helping with activities such as story time and learning centers, with opportunities for dual language classroom involvement.

Positions are based in Oregon locations; metro locations offer higher pay.

Qualifications

• No prior education or experience required.
• Within 4 months from hire, meet Oregon ELD requirements for Preschool Teacher Aide II.
• Meets Oregon ELD requirements for Preschool Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching staff in maintaining a safe, healthy preschool environment.
• Supervise preschool children in classrooms and on playgrounds.
• Assist with routines: toileting, dressing, meals, transitions.
• Help with daily activities: free play, story time, learning centers.
