Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) seeks a PFA Classroom Support Aide to assist preschoolers with cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development in Preschool for All classrooms. You will support inclusion strategies, IFSP/IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers to foster positive learning experiences.

Ideal candidates hold a CDA (preschool) and meet Oregon Registry Online steps, with about 1 year of preschool experience.

Qualifications

• CDA that includes preschool ages (or obtain within 6 months).
• Oregon Registry Online (ORO) Step 8 or higher via the Degree or College Coursework pathways.
• Minimum of 1 year of preschool work experience preferably in special education or working with populations of varied backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist PFA Teachers with inclusion strategies and IFSP/IEP goals.
• Identify accommodations, modifications and positive behavior support in classroom.
• Support children with diverse backgrounds in daily routines and activities.
• Assist with small-group and language development activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation for children with identified support needs or IFSPs/IEPs.
