Job summary

The position emphasizes collaboration with state and local agencies, and requires extensive training

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Development, Child and Family Studies, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or related field; OR Step 10 on the Oregon Registry
• Minimum 5 years of experience teaching/coordinating/coaching in an early childhood program, including adult training
• Bilingual skills with oral and written fluency in English and Spanish
• Current driver’s license, insurance, and ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide relationship-based coaching and technical assistance to early learning educators and programs
• Coordinate, implement, and evaluate the Inclusive Partners Program (IP) in Multnomah County
• Deliver training, consultation, and technical assistance to support inclusive child care
• Develop and conduct trainings for child care providers based on the Oregon Registry’s requirements
• Collaborate with CCR&R and inclusive partners to promote inclusive practices across the region
