Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) is seeking an Instructional Coach I to deliver strengths-based professional development to educators using the Practice-Based Coaching model. Under guidance, you will help staff elevate teaching practices, support children’s development, and align approaches with Head Start outcomes.

Responsibilities include conducting observations, coaching staff, facilitating reflective discussions, and coordinating trainings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience in early childhood classroom teaching or instructional support.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of professional development through Practice-Based Coaching.
• Conduct classroom and home-based observations to identify instructional strengths and growth areas.
• Assist staff in setting professional growth goals to improve school readiness outcomes.
• Document coaching sessions and track progress towards goals for supervisors.
• Coordinate and support group trainings and workshops on instructional practices and family engagement.
