Job summary

Community Access Services (CAS) is hiring a Full‑Time Job Coach to support adults with IDD as they gain confidence and succeed in competitive employment in The Dalles, OR. Training is provided; no prior Job Coach experience is required.

Responsibilities include one‑on‑one coaching, promoting independence, and documenting progress while fostering safe, respectful work environments across Hood River and Wasco counties. Travel is expected as part of community placement support.

Qualifications

• No previous Job Coach experience is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to become an approved company driver.
• Ability to pass a national background check.

Responsibilities

• Providing one‑on‑one coaching and workplace support.
• Encouraging independence, self‑confidence, and professional workplace habits.
• Supporting positive communication with supervisors and coworkers.
• Helping individuals strengthen skills such as organization, time management, and problem‑solving.
• Completing required documentation and progress notes.
• Promoting safe, inclusive, and respectful work environments.
• Collaborating with employers, support teams, and coworkers to help individuals achieve long‑term employment success.
