Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) seeks an Instructional Coach I to deliver strengths-based professional development to teachers and education staff through Practice-Based Coaching, guiding implementation of high-quality instructional practices aligned with Head Start outcomes.

You will observe classrooms, support goal setting, model effective strategies, document progress, and coordinate with supervisors to integrate PD across the program while upholding confidentiality and equity.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant work experience in early childhood classroom teaching or instructional support.
• Preferred: Coaching, mentoring, or adult professional development experience.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain positive coaching relationships with education staff.
• Conduct classroom and home-based observations.
• Assist staff in achieving professional growth goals.
• Model effective teaching strategies in coaching sessions.
• Document coaching sessions and track staff progress toward goals.
• Coordinate with supervisors to align coaching with program-wide PD goals.
• Deliver group trainings on instructional practices.
• Maintain confidentiality and support diverse learners.
